Barr Cottage
Barr Cottage was built by Bill Barr between 1935 and 1940. Materials were reused from the original Barr cottage of the late 1880s, which once stood alongside.

Pararaha Valley Campground
The Whatipu area is a Scientific Reserve owned by the Department of Conservation and managed on behalf by the Auckland Council Regional Parks. It is a spectacular area of coastal dunes and wetlands. Note: Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.

Huia Lodge
Adjacent to the Waitakere Ranges, Huia lodge is situated next to a safe beach, which is part of Huia Bay. Note: Animals (except aid dogs) are prohibited at all times.
- Check in time is at 2pm and check out time is at 10am.

Kiwanis Lodge
Kiwanis Lodge is next to a safe beach, Huia Bay and adjacent to the Waitakere Ranges. Can be booked in conjunction with Huia Lodge.
Fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery and utensils. There is a fridge, freezer, washing machine and large toaster.
