The Manukau Live Steamer Trains

The Manukau Live Steamer Trains have been lovingly created and restored by local enthusiasts and their Mangere club allows members of the public to view and ride on Sundays. Free to view and only a couple of dollars per ride – A variety of fully operational miniature steam, electric and diesel trains to enjoy and ride.

There are two tracks: "Spiral Hill" which features a 20m tunnel and "Prairie Route" which runs approx 1200m around the Centre Park.

The Manukau Live Steamer miniature steam railway rides on Sundays (weather permitting) operate from 11am-4pm in Mangere.

NOTE : QUEENS BIRTHDAY open all 3 days for the annual open weekend. With visiting locos from around the country this year. Normal times. No Eftpos. Please help us spread the word. Thanks and see you there!
